On 7 September, The Roma Project hosted a very special event at our offices, in partnership with the University of Birmingham. The event focused on the important topic of disordered eating and eating disorders within our community, and was presented by Dr. Anna Lavis from the University of Birmingham.
We are delighted to say that the event was a great success. Our community members engaged actively throughout the meeting, asking questions, sharing their thoughts, and responding positively to the information and guidance presented. It was wonderful to see so many people open to learning and discussing a topic that is often difficult to talk about.
Events like this are a reminder of the strength and openness of our community, and we are grateful to Dr. Anna Lavis and the University of Birmingham team for their time, expertise and dedication.
We look forward to continuing this important conversation and to future collaborations.
